The places where Opera Mini is trending in Google Play include populous countries like India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Ukraine, South Africa, Nigeria and Pakistan. In total, over 2 billion people live in the countries where Opera Mini is the people’s top choice.
“A few days after we launched our newest version of Opera Mini, we had 1 million people download it in just 1 day. That’s 1 million downloads in 1 day, which is something we are very proud of,” says Lars Boilesen, Opera’s CEO.
“The strong reception in the market really shows how users all over the world appreciate the fast and secure access to the internet that Opera Mini gives them,” he continues.
