The Wales squad has arrived at the Vale Hotel, in advance of the friendly international against Luxembourg at Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli on Wednesday.
Ched Evans (Sheffield United) picked-up an ankle injury against Cardiff City on Sunday. He has reported but will not train tomorrow (Monday).
Wayne Hennessey (Wolves) has been passed fit to join the squad. From the original squad, Wales has lost Sam Vokes (Wolves, on loan to Bristol City) with a hamstring injury and Simon Davies (Fulham) who has decided to retire from international football.
Davies won 58 caps and scored 6 goals in an international career that started in 2001 against the Ukraine. His final appearance came against Sweden in the friendly match in Swansea last March. During the last eighteen months, Davies has been troubled with a foot injury and he has decided that in order to prolong his career, he will end his international commitments.
The FAW are also taking the opportunity of thanking Simon for his service and they wish him well for the forthcoming season with Fulham.
