Andrew RT Davies MS, the Welsh Conservative Senedd Leader, called for a freeze on council tax rises today during First Ministerâs Questions.
Mr Davies said:
âAs we begin to see glimmers of optimism, so the realisation of the economic, financial and cost of living crisis really comes into view, and up and down the land, people are now worried about future bills.
âItâs in Labourâs hands to use the ÂŁ6 billion in funding theyâve received from the UK Government to support local authorities and finance a CTax freeze, keeping just a little bit more of our workersâ hard-earned money in their pockets.
âHowever, Labourâs âProfessor Dolittleâ in the Bay has shown little appetite today to lower the cost of living in Wales and support families the length and breadth of the country.â
