This week is National Stalking Awareness week. #NSAW2021
Anyone can be a victim of stalking, and it comes in many forms – someone you know or a stranger, in person or online – sending unwanted gifts or messaging you constantly. We are seeing a significant change in perpetrator behaviour since the outbreak of Covid-19, notably a rise in cyber stalking and we expect these behaviours to remain long term.
If you are concerned or frightened by the unwanted, obsessive and repeated behaviour of someone towards you, either online or in person it’s stalking.
Please report it by calling 101, contact us via social media or email PublicServiceCentre@south-wales.police.uk
If you are in immediate danger always dial 999, and if you need to alert us that you need help but you’re in a situation where you are unable to speak please call 999 and then press 55 when prompted.
