Everyone is going barking mad for Cwmaman Carnival on Saturday with the Rockwood Dog Display the main attraction.
Four-legged friends of all sizes and breeds will be put through their paces performing amazing tricks with fiery displays.
And there is a lot more going on so make sure you dress up, get out and enjoy the day that will rock the valley with sound and entertainment.
The community will be a riot of colour for the sixth annual Cwmaman Community Carnival that will be swamping the valley with floats, a Mardi Gras parade with costumes, lots of bands and lots of fun.
Cwmaman Carnival Committee chairman Cllr Kevin Madge said: “We want to see as many people turn out as possible to support and have fun at what is the biggest day in the year for the community.”
The parade will leave Grenig Square at 12.30pm with floats and a Mardi Gras parade, joined at 12.40pm on Glanaman Square by Ysgol Y Bedol children in fancy dress before dancing round to the Raven and then to Ysgol Y Bedol to unload the floats before joining people at the park.
The carnival field at Parc Yr Amman will have a funfair, food stalls, live music and entertainment including samba and silver band performances.
Gates on the field open at noon. Kids go free; adults pay £2 which includes a programme.
