SWANS fans excited about the start of the new Premier League have the chance to get their parking sorted for the season by the time Steve McClaren’s Newcastle arrive at the Liberty Stadium.
Swansea Council and the Swans have teamed up to give fans the opportunity to buy passes for the Landore Park and Ride site for all forthcoming Premier League home games.
Over 200 passes at a special offer of £99 each are now available until July 20.
The Swans kick-off their Premier League campaign with a visit to champions Chelsea but the Toon army will be arriving at the Liberty Stadium the week after on Saturday August 15.
Other early home fixtures for the Swans in the league include clashes against Manchester United, Everton and Tottenham.
Cllr Mark Thomas, Swansea Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment and Transportation, said: “This offer gives Swans fans who go to many of their side’s home matches over the course of the season the chance to take the stress out of parking.
“The easiest way to apply is online. The passes have been selling quickly, so it seems they are something fans want.”
The passes, which will arrive by post by July 31, are valid from August 8.
Match day parking is available from two hours before kick-off. For a 3pm kick-off time, this means the car park will be open from 1pm to 7pm.
Cup games are not included but the Park and Ride site will still be open for cup matches. Information on opening times and the number of spaces available will be put online before matches.
