Please can you and your readers help us get 10,000 signatures for our petition.
We’re backed by retired AM Suzy Davies, our vice-president, and supported greatly by our president Ruth McDonald whose son, 25, sadly died at the Cardiff half marathon from cardiac arrest that may have been picked up in a heart screening.
Following on from Christian Eriksen’s cardiac arrest on the football pitch the other day, it has highlighted that cardiac arrest can happen to anyone at any age and fitness level. Heart screening can reduce the risk of this by detecting structural issues that can then be managed or treated.
Sharon, our charity director, and I are more than happy to answer any further questions you may have.
Kind regards,
Nia
