Skydiving to raise money for the MS Trust

On 27 June, 15 MS Trust supporters faced their fears and completed tandem skydives, all to raise money for the MS Trust. The group have raised over £6,000 for the MS Trust, to date, by freefalling at 120mph before the parachute was deployed and they floated back to the ground at Dunkeswell Airfield. The MS Trust would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in Jump in June, the money you raised will make a difference to those living with MS today.

Emyr Williams from Llangadog was one of the skydive students to take part…

“We wanted to give something back so as a family we set ourselves a target to raise £1000 for the MS Trust,” says Emyr.  “My wife Gemma has MS and the MS Trust have been a great source of support for us and our two boys, Iestyn and Morgan, in learning to live life with MS.  As the illness progresses and new treatments become available we are continually facing new challenges and choices.  The MS Trust provide a wealth of useful information and their kids guides for children whose parents have MS were very helpful when explaining to our boys.”

Emyr has raised a fantastic amount for the MS Trust. Visit Emyr’s fundraising page http://www.justgiving.com/Gemma-Williams33
