Tenovus new Carmarthenshire Cancer Support Service

Tenovus, Wales’ leading cancer charity, will be launching a new range of Cancer Support Services in Carmarthenshire on Tuesday 8 November 2011 and showcasing the expansion of these Cancer Support Services into communities across Wales.

Tenovus cancer services are innovative, flexible, patient-centred and can help support the NHS and local health boards across Wales and save money! We aim to bring cancer care, treatment, support and research to the heart of every community through our specialist Cancer Support Team.

Our Mobile Cancer Support Unit will be situated in John Street Car Park for you to come and see the range of cancer treatments and services it can provide. You can also take a free health check to see how your diet and lifestyle choices might be influencing your risks of getting cancer.

We also provide services from our West Wales office in Nott Square Carmarthen (above the Tenovus shop) and a growing number of outreach locations across Carmarthenshire.

Refreshment vouchers will be provided and a photographer will be present.

If you would like to come along, it would be very helpful if you could contact Mercedes Luis Fentes or Charlie Williams on 029 2076 8850, or email mobilemondays@tenovus.org.uk and give an approximate time at which you plan to attend.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 8th November.
