Swedish alarm management platform provider, Skyresponse AB, continues its growth with an expansion into the lucrative UK Telehealth care market. As a part of this expansion the company is setting up a UK subsidiary – Skyresponse UK Limited – and has signed the initial go to market team.
The team consists of Skyresponse UK Limited’s first UK employee, Account Manager Kelly Watts, and TECS Advisory Limited, a specialist commercially focused consultancy business with former Doro Care VP Steve Smith and his colleague Mark Bannister, a former MD of Welbeing, to support the market entry. The team will be providing in-country support and will be covering both the UK and Ireland. The team has an in depth understanding of the Telehealthcare sector having worked in some of the leading companies. Kelly has worked both as the commissioner of telecare services whilst at Bromford homes and more latterly in her technical support role whilst at Welbeing/Doro Care UK.

Skyresponse is an established and trusted Swedish Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company which offers a 100% cloud-based alarm management platform used by major international care and security organisations across the public and private sectors, offering a flexible, secure, and resilient alarm management platform solution for:

  • Alarm response centres
  • Telehealthcare services
  • Supported housing and retirement living
  • Residential and domiciliary care
  • Lone worker protection
  • Facility Management
  • Smart Buildings

“With the upcoming digitalisation of UK’s telecom infrastructure and a switch off of all analogue services by the end of 2025, Skyresponse sees a huge potential in being a trusted partner, supporting clients through this process”, says Martin Reidevall, CEO of Skyresponse. “We have a significant experience and knowledge of this upgrade process being part of the transition in the Nordic countries where digitalisation has already been completed.”

Powerful, futureproof software architecture, extensive experience of supporting digitalisation of alarm systems across Europe, sophisticated alarm distribution and open integration capabilities, granular configuration tailoring and unlimited scalability make Skyresponse the ideal partner for organisations seeking to navigate the ongoing digitalisation of UK’s telecom infrastructure (all analogue services to be switched off by the end of 2025) and develop next generation digital care and support services.

To support their entrance into the UK Skyresponse has enlisted the support of TECS Advisory Limited.

Steve Smith, the joint founder and Director of the business explains; “I have known of and worked with Skyresponse for a number of years, predominately in connection with the Doro call centre in Oslo. The thing that most impresses me about the organisation is not just the leading-edge solutions they provide, which incredibly includes an app that allows calls to be taken on a mobile phone/tablet as if in a call centre, nor the fact that they provide a true based cloud service, but it is the people. The Skyresponse team are not only highly effective, but also really care about what they do and the benefits their efforts can provide to care commissioners and vulnerable members of the community”.
