Dear Carmarthenshire Councillor,
I am sure removal of the Trawscymru T1S service from Carmarthen to Swansea will be detrimental to the cost of travel for Carmarthenshire residents who will be unable to use a £10 Trawscymru day ticket for a return trip to Swansea.
The MS for Llanelli , Lee Waters , is the current Minister for Transport for the Welsh Government. At this time he is fixated on developing the South Wales Metro around Swansea. If the T1S went through his own constituency, the T1S would not have been axed.
Lee Waters is following in the footsteps of his predecessor, Ken Skates, who stood down after Breaching the Ministerial Code in order to follow his own personal agenda for bus services in his own constituency. Lee Waters cares not a fig for the residents of rural Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion who will no longer benefit from cheap travel to Swansea.
Kind Regards,
Dr John McTighe
Dear Ellen ap Gwynn ,
Could you please ask the MS for Llanelli , Lee Waters , who is the current Minister for Transport for the Welsh Government to reinstate the Trawscymru T1S service between Carmarthen and Swansea . The removal of the T1S is detrimental to Ceredigion residents wishing to visit Morriston Hospital in Swansea.
Kind Regards,
Dr John McTighe
