CHURCH MEMBERS MEETING

All the reports given on the buildings, health and safety, and Financial reports were accepted by the membership We are encouraged by the Tuesday meetings attendances and the beginning of Christianity Explored which is being held up to Christmas. Our mission as a church to the community is a central part of our life and we pray that God will lead us as he would see us move forward to the future. The new Pastoral care plans was introduced where members and friends will received a pastoral prayer card with links to follow which hopefully will ensure that no one is overlooked as far as care and prayer is concerned. These cards will be distributed in the next month. A major work in the new year will be the complete electrical rewiring of the chapel and schoolroom. The church meeting authorizing the change of church rules in relation to future election of deacons. After much discussion the church accepted the recommendations of the diaconate and these were passed unanimously.

LOOKING FORWARD

The annual Advent Bereavement service will be held on Thursday 8th December at 7pm. This service has become very much part of our Advent season. For some Christmas is not an easy time and we pray that this service will be of help and comfort. Nativity Rehearsals for the children will be held from Friday 25th November between 5 & 6pm and every Friday following. The final rehearsal will be held on Saturday 17th December between 1.30pm and 3pm. The Children’s Christmas party will follow.
