Following reports of an injured female being discovered within the graveyard of St David’s Church in Carmarthen during the early hours of Tuesday, August 4, police have charged a 29 year old man with rape and an attempted section 18 assault.
He appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, August 8 where he was remanded into custody.
The victim continues to be supported by specially trained officers.
