Alastair Stevenson, spokesperson for Trusted Reviews, commented on the findings: “Apple prides itself on being a premium brand so it’s no surprise none of these handsets could be considered cheap. But the iPhone XS Max was a watershed moment for the brand in a couple of ways. It was the first “Max” phone from Apple, which previously labelled its phablets as Plus models. It was also the first to break the £1000-plus price point, which makes it one of Apple’s most iconic releases in the last few years. The SE 2 by comparison felt like more of an afterthought, with it missing many of the main selling points debuted on the iPhone 12 handsets it launched against.”
