Festival Choir All Set For Concert

Kidwelly Festival Choir have been busy practising for their annual concert, which takes place at 7.30 pm on November 25th in St Mary’s Church, Kidwelly.
The choir has a proud history, since being formed in 1983 during the festival of castles. During which time, it has raised over £10,000 for charity and has performed across the region, but most notably at the Albert Hall on no less than three occasions.
Wendy Anderson Smith, one of the organisers said:
“We have been lucky to engage Andrew Pike, a young, energetic and inspiring conductor. The entire choir enjoys good camaraderie and hardworking fun.”
Performing a varied repertoire, from sacred & classical, to musicals & popular songs.
Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 7pm in Capel Sul Vestry, where new members are warmly welcomed.
Tickets for the concert are £6 and are available at the door.
