Sunday 5th December saw Llys y Frân host their first craft fair, having only opened its doors in July, this was the first event organised by the staff at the Centre. With twenty stalls dotted around the centre, the festive atmosphere drew in visitors looking for unique Christmas gifts. Over 1200 people attended the fair and stallholders were over the moon with the fantastic turn out. Visitors were spoilt for choice with jewellery, candles, clothing, pet gifts cards, Christmas decorations, home décor and lots of exquisite crafts.

Emma Bourton from Rhosfach, who makes and sells jewellery said “I had a fantastic day, there was a tremendous turn out and visitors were extremely cooperative, wearing masks at all times. I’d like to thank the staff at the centre for their warm welcome and hard work – not just on the day, but the excellent organisation too.  The new facilities at Llys Y Fran are absolutely awesome.”

Dogem Glass is a newly established business in Cardigan, selling fusion glass gifts. Owner Emma said “the footfall has been constant despite the weather, so it shows how well the day was advertised. As a newbie to the craft world, I have found some events quite difficult, but you have thought of everything and laid it out so well.”
