Health Charity Receives Donation From The Amazon Team In Swansea

Swansea Bay Health charity has received a £1,000 donation from the Amazon fulfilment centre in Swansea Bay. This is the second £1,000 donation made to the charity this year from the team at Amazon. 

Swansea Bay Health Charity is the official charity of Swansea Bay University Health Board. With a focus on supporting its staff, patients and services, the charity raises funds and awareness for scientific research, training, development, patient care and medical equipment.

The donation from Amazon will be used to help and support staff and patients across the Swansea Bay area. 

Speaking on the donation, Omer Kartal, Site Leader at Amazon in Swansea, said:

“Swansea Bay Health Charity is doing great work across the South Wales community and we are pleased to support the charity once again with this donation.” 

Debs Longman, the Head of Fundraising for Swansea Bay Health Charity added: 

“We would like to thank Omer and the team in Swansea for their continued support. It is thanks to donations like this that we can continue to support patients and staff of the Swansea Bay Health Board throughout our local community.” 

The donation to Swansea Bay Health Charity was made as part of Amazon’s programme to support the communities in and around its operating locations across the UK.
