New analysis reveals that a hair transplant is the most searched for cosmetic procedure of 2021 in the UK.
The study conducted by health and wellness experts Longevita analysed Google search data to establish which cosmetic procedure the UK searched for the most in 2021.
The term ‘Hair transplant’ was searched the most, proving the most in-demand surgery of the year for Brits with a monthly search volume of 35,000.
A rhinoplasty, more commonly known as a nose job, had the second largest number of combined Google searches, averaging at 31,000 searches a month for the procedure.
The third most searched for cosmetic surgery was Liposuction. The procedure has 30,000 combined average monthly searches in the UK as well as 290K searches globally. Similarly a ‘Tummy tuck’ was the fourth most popular procedure in the UK based on average monthly searches of 19,700.
The fifth most popular surgery is a ‘Labiaplasty’, with searches for the procedure up 6% in popularity from last year. The term has a combined monthly search volume of 11,000.
