Youths views sought

 

The Youths of Glanymor and Tyisha are being encouraged to attend the next Youth Action meeting.

 

The meeting which is next Thursday 1st December between 4-5, is being held in the Communities First Office in Inkerman Street.

The group are looking at working together to gather information about the issues facing young people in the area, and how as a group they can develop projects that will be of benefit to the whole community.

The ultimate aim of the group is to give a voice to the area’s young people. Any one aged 10-25 is welcome to attend the meeting (under 16 parental supervision is required)

Kelly Wood, Youth Action Officer said:

” I would really encourage young people of the area to come along as we would really like to hear their views and comments on how to transform the community.”
