The craftsmen of Norman Industries in Haverfordwest are ready to roll up their sleeves for a busy autumn after receiving a flurry of orders at this year’s County Show.

It was the first time the supported furniture and woodworking factory attended the show with orders enquiries being made for memorial benches, doors, window shutters and mantelpieces.

“Not only did we take £574 of cash and credit card sales for our off the shelf items we secured orders for bespoke items for the home and garden,” said project manager Karen Davies.

“Bird and bat boxes quite literally went flying out and it was great to get out and speak to members of the public about our work and talk about how we can meet their needs.

“We hoped the show would generate some leads but this has exceeded our expectations. It’s going to be an exciting time for us”
