Keep Wales Tidy are interested in finding out how much of an issue drinks-related litter is across Wales and they need your help!
In particular they would like community groups across Wales to help them by recording the types of drink-related litter that they find out on their litter picking activities during Be Tidy Month (September).
This information will be used by Keep Wales Tidy to help them to develop solutions to tackle the problem, and will help take the issue to the Welsh Government.
It is also an opportunity for you to tell them your ideas!
Drinks-related litter includes:
- Aluminium cans (such as fizzy drinks)
- Glass bottles (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages)
- Plastic bottles (such as water, sports beverages and carbonated drinks)
- Drinks cartons (such as those used for fruit juices)
- They are also interested in the number of ‘single use cups’ found such as those that you may get from a coffee shop to take away.
