Rangers make progress in the West Wales Premier League Cup
A very blustery Welfare Ground in Onllwyn made playing conditions tricky.
Both teams had their chances in the first half but it was the home team who scored after a quarter of an hour through Timothy Stephens and doubled their lead three minutes before half time when Nathan Jones netted.
Rangers Jordan Lloyd-Evans was unlucky to see his 25 yards shot rattle the home side’s crossbar. Two nil down at half time spurred Rangers on in the second half and it was Ricky Kerr who started the comeback five minutes in from the restart.
Rangers dominant come back was completed when Rangers Captain Chrissy Allen rounded off his team’s scoring by getting the fourth goal to ensure Rangers are in the next round of the Cup!
