THERE are no changes to bin collections in Carmarthenshire over the Easter period.

Householders should put out their rubbish on their usual collection day including Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Please put your bins out by 6am on the day of collection, and remember the maximum number of black bags you can put out is three a fortnight.

Hygiene and garden waste will also be collected as normal.

Please remember to recycle any Easter egg boxes and foil in your blue bags and use your green bins for any food waste.

Glass bottles and jars can be recycled at your nearest bottle bank, please visit the recycling pages on the council website for locations. If your nearest bottle bank is full, please report it and go to your next available site or call back another day. Please do not leave glass or any other waste on the ground.

The recycling centres in Trostre (Llanelli), Nantycaws (Carmarthen), Wernddu (Ammanford), and Whitland are all open on the Easter bank holidays. To book an appointment please visit the council website.

The Eto reuse shop in Llanelli is also open from 10am to 4pm on Good Friday.
