Which sport star net worths are most searched?
Lebron James’ wealth is the most searched for with a whopping 2,895,000 searches worldwide and 246,000 average monthly searches. Most of his income comes from his stellar basketball career – where he received $400 million from his NBA salary alone! He also makes money through his shoe deal with Nike, a stake in Red Sox and Lobos tequila. This basketball player wears many hats.
Provocative Youtuber and boxer Jake Paul is in second place with 2,384,500 searches worldwide and 201,000 average monthly searches. The 25-year-old first made his millions on YouTube and is consistently one of the highest paid stars in the world. He is known for his controversial pranking videos and has recently catapulted himself into the boxing world.
Michael Jordan follows in third with 2,220,000 total worldwide searches and 201,000 average monthly searches. The basketball player entered the spotlight in the 1980s when he joined the Chicago Bulls. Over his long-standing career, he has made nearly $95 million from NBA contracts. He retired 15 years ago and earns his current income through endorsements, earning $1.7 billion from brands such as Nike, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, and Wheaties.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, in the male dominated world of sport, Serena Williams is the only woman to appear in our top 10 line up with 1,263,500 searches in total. Williams is the world’s third richest tennis player and has made millions from her impressive career winning 23 Grand Slam singles titles.
