Carmarthenshire County Council’s review of the boundaries and electoral arrangements in the Llangennech and Bynea wards is now complete.
The review looked at the boundaries and arrangements for the wards which come under Llangennech Community Council and Llanelli Rural Council, as part of a formal consultation.
Findings will now be submitted to the Local Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales for scrutiny.
If it thinks fit, the Commission will make an order to bring the proposals into force, either as submitted or with modifications, although this would not happen until at least six weeks have elapsed.
People who have further representations concerning the review are advised to contact the Local Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales.
For further information about the review, email electoralservices@carmarthenshire.gov.uk, call 01267 228609 or write to Electoral Services, Block 4, Parc Myrddin, Richmond Terrace, Carmarthen, SA31 1HQ.
