MARKET HAMPERS RAFFLED FOR CANCER CHARITY

Be in with the chance of winning a hamper worth around £150 donated by traders in Carmarthen market.

A further four prizes are also up for grabs during the whole of November.

Proceeds will go to Cancer Research.

From vouchers to spend at a variety of different businesses to a wide range of goodies all of which have been donated by the traders.

Trader Sharon Harrison who came up with the idea said: “I’ve always done something to raise money for different children and cancer charities. In 2011 I raised £12,000 on my own for Cancer Research. I wanted to do something in the market throughout November and many of the traders have come together and donated so much the top prize is a hamper which is worth around £150.”

Tickets cost £1 a strip and are available to buy until the end of November at Rugs, Fabrics and Curtains in the market.
