Beauty Pie Skincare Creator Gets Industry Backing

Pippa Harman, skincare scientist behind many of Beauty Pie’s most loved skincare lines has secured backing from ex-Pfizer and ex-Lauder employees as well as backing from major UK investment funds.

Alongside Cate Nisson, an award-winning US AI industry leader and computer vision expert, Pippa and Cate’s venture, Renude.co, is an online skincare concierge service bringing together the power of Harley Street aestheticians and cutting-edge AI in the palm of your hand.

Pippa and Cate founded Renude to disrupt the broken skincare industry that values single skincare purchases that are ultimately thrown away rather than real results, lifetime value and true skin health. Huge brands have partnered with Renude to stock their products including Eucerin, Bioderma and COSRX.

Pippa: “80% of people use trial and error to find skincare and it just doesn’t work and almost 30% of products we buy just get thrown away because they’re not right! I am so proud Renude has already helped so many people find skincare that works and 90% of our customers have seen visible improvements in their skin after 4 weeks.”

The pair are also seeking to raise investment via their crowdfunding campaign, exclusive to platform Seedrs which has already raised its brands over £1 billion. The campaign opened on 27th of June and has already seen incredible pledges already submitted.

Our aestheticians have immense experience, working in CQC accredited aesthetic skin clinics alongside the UK’s leading doctors and dermatologists (and all certified with an NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Beauty Therapy). They’re well qualified to offer the best advice for your skin. Not to mention, they’re lovely to chat to!

Consultant dermatologist, Dr Justine Kluk, is a scientific advisor to Renude and supports the development of our computer vision technology. Dr Justine has her own private clinic on Harley Street and is a spokesperson for the British Association of Dermatology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
