The brand has seen involvement in motorsports, most notably Formula 1, since being founded in 1913. Aston Martin currently produces the DB11, DBS, DBX, Valkyrie, and Vantage.

Morgan was found to be the least known brand, with only 54% of respondents hearing of it. However, 64.81% of those who had heard of it liked the brand, giving it the fifth-place spot in the list.

Commenting on the findings, Dave Timmis from Leasing.com said: “The assortment of UK car brands in this list highlights that it’s not only the quality of cars that can affect public opinion of a brand but also the history as well. With the inclusion of luxury, more expensive brands like Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce compared to more consumer-focused brands; the UK public doesn’t need to own a car to have a positive opinion of it.”
