Raising money for Ukraine

Celebrate the harvest season with FARMERS’ Welsh Lavender’s Summer Makers’ Markets! With the scent of lavender in the air, enjoy a day amongst the blooms experiencing the very best of local makers, collectors and craftspeople from across the country.

Working with Experience Ukraine and Beyond, FARMERS’ July and August markets will help raise money for those affected by the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. A percentage of admission sales from across both weekends, as well as a contribution from each maker, will go towards the fundraiser supporting work by agencies such as NGO MOLOTOK and Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Featuring an array of local producers, purveyors of beautiful objects and delicious treats including Experience Ukraine and Beyond, Rosebud & Violet, Welsh Willow Baskets, Origin Pizza, Rural Kind, Carpenter & Cloth, Tim Lake Ceramics, Frost and Kin, Huna Sleep, Gaia Seed, Wowee Kitchen, Hay Distillery, FBR Textiles and Upholstery, Rosie Lake, Geranium Home and Garden, Daughter of a Shepherd, Rural Kind, The French Shed, Outpost Candle Company and many more.

FARMERS’ Welsh Lavender Ltd

Located in the windswept hills of mid-Wales, FARMERS’ Welsh Lavender was started by Oxford
philosopher Bill Newton-Smith and international journalist Nancy Durham. The first lavender farm in
Wales, FARMERS’ creates beautifully handcrafted skincare with a focus on sustainability, as well as
partnering with local makers and craftspeople to create small batch apparel and homewares.
