Alzheimer's Society's Cardiff Memory Walk

People in Wales are being urged to put their best foot forward and unite against dementia at Alzheimer’s Society’s Cardiff Memory Walk.

Hundreds of fundraisers will don their walking boots at Bute Park, Cardiff on 18 September 2022, alongside friends, family and colleagues to support the almost 50,00 people living with dementia in Wales.

Memory Walk will bring together people who have been personally affected by dementia, those who want to walk to remember a loved one, and people looking to raise money for charity at the stunning Bute Park.

Alzheimer’s Society is calling walkers of all ages and abilities to go the distance with a 2km or 6km reflective stroll at Bute Park (route info is on the website) to help the charity provide a lifeline for as many people affected by dementia as possible.

By signing up to the family-friendly walk, fundraisers will support people affected by dementia through some of the hardest and most frightening times, to improve their lives and help to avoid crisis.

Supporters can also opt to walk on their own, or with loved ones, on the paths, pavements, parks or pebbles in a location of their choosing throughout September.
