End Jew Hatred announces actor, filmmaker and activist Yuval David as director of mobilization

David is tasked with being a community-facing leader for the
nation’s only Jewish civil rights movement.

End Jew Hatred, the only Jewish civil rights movement in America, announced this week the addition of renowned actor, host, filmmaker, and activist Yuval David as its director of mobilization.

David, who recently won an Emmy Award, is known for his work in film, television and live events. In addition to his staunch activism as a social justice, civil rights and human rights advocate in the Jewish and LGBTQ communities, and for other marginalized and victimized individuals and communities internationally. David frequently stands up against Jew-hatred across the nation.

“This role is of utmost importance for myself,” David said. “Working in entertainment and media provides a platform beyond my creative work as an actor, host and filmmaker. It provides a platform for advocacy. Sharing the narratives of the people and causes in my stories truly is a form of advocacy.

“Beyond the creative form of advocacy, my work provides a platform for me to represent myself, the communities I am part of, and the causes I believe in.”

In David’s position as director of mobilization, he is a leader within the End Jew Hatred movement on social media, representing the organization in the media, working side-by-side with governmental and organizational leaders to ensure the safety of Jews nationwide and internationally.

David is currently having a series of meetings with elected officials in the United States with diplomats and ambassadors, discussing the urgent need to combat hate, discrimination and violence. He speaks at events and demonstrations, including recently at City Hall in New York City, alongside New York City Councilwoman Inna Vernikov.

Within the End Jew Hatred movement, David states that “no matter the political party, religion, race, ethnicity, culture or nationality, all must unify together in combatting Jew-hatred.” As part of his work within the End Jew Hatred movement, he unifies leaders and gathers activists, empowering them in mutual initiatives. Advocacy and representation of marginalized and victimized groups must also include Jewish people in civil rights and social justice movements, David explained.

The End Jew Hatred movement works to unite individuals and organizations from around the world who support the cause that defines the movement: to end Jew-hatred in our lifetime.

Brooke Goldstein, co-founder of the End Jew Hatred movement, civil rights attorney and award-winning filmmaker, emphasizes the influence of David’s appointment as director of mobilization.

“We know for a fact that Yuval David is the person we need as our director of mobilization,” Goldstein said. “Yuval has a unique platform, with an opportunity to make an impact across our great nation. His diligent work as an activist in the LGBTQ and Jewish communities makes him the perfect fit to represent our organization.”

Multiple elected officials across America are in the announcing proclamations of April 29 as End Jew Hatred Day. The leaders of End Jew Hatred are facilitating the enactment of proclamations across the nation as they continue to pursue the unifying initiatives of the movement.

David concluded, “It is my duty, just as the duty of every social justice warrior, to support and empower those who are coming under attack. Living beyond victimhood and towards resilience is vital, and if I can lead others to doing so, then that is a social justice success.”
