Children from Wolfscastle CP School enjoyed a tour of Pembrokeshire County Council’s County Hall on Friday with the Chairman of the Authority.
Cllr Wynne Evans took the pupils and teachers around various departments, introducing them to members of staff and explaining what they do.
The pupils also enjoyed a presentation in the Council chamber by Jeremy Trew from Mid and West Wales Fire Brigade and asked him a variety of questions about the fire brigade’s work in Pembrokeshire.
Head teacher Mrs Wendy Raymond stated “What a wonderful welcome the staff and pupils received from Councillor Evans. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the visit and learned a great deal about how the County Council works.”
