Claire loses 7st 10 lbs in just 12 months

A Christmas Party at the Ffwrnes Theatre, Llanelli, included a surprise presentation award to a student of the ever-popular Llanelli G.I. Joe Personal Training Academy.

A surprised and emotional Claire Bancroft, chip shop proprietor from Pontyates, received the well-deserved award, as she has managed to lose an amazing 7st 10 lbs in just 12 months.

The stunning weight loss came under the help and guidance of G.I. Joe Williams.

Claire said: “My life has changed so much during the past 12 months. Being a single parent I needed to take control of my health and to make a future that is filled with possibilities has become a priority. Now I have the energy and determination to make it happen.

“It’s so easy to coast along and stick to the old unhealthy ways and that is why I teamed up with Joe Williams of G.I. Joe Personal Training Llanelli to ensure that I had the support, encouragement and professional guidance that was needed to stay on track throughout this life-changing journey.

“Often, it can be extremely challenging to stick to regular training and exercise routines when everyone has such busy and demanding lives, but Joe has developed a process that is tried and tested and under constant review to ensure that clients obtain the best results in an achievable time frame.”

Claire said that she was considering a skydive in 2016.

Joe Williams said: “We have a growing business within the community offering people the opportunity to improve their health and wellbeing, encouraging and supporting them to live life to the full.

“Before my clients finished for Christmas we sat down and assessed their current situation and came up with goals to achieve in 2016.

“There are short, medium and long term goals covering the year. We mapped out how they could reach them and put dates to achieve them by.

“For example, if you want to shift 15kgs by the summer . . .

“It seems like a lot, but that is just 2.5kg a month, just over a pound a week.

“It pays to set goals and break them down. When you know what you have to achieve you can plan how to reach it a lot easier.”
