Return of the Dream

Album Review

Return of the Album review, what better way to comeback with an album review, with an
American rock band who have been around nearly 40 years, with members Anthony
Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and John Frusciante, Red Hot Chili Peppers, releasing big albums including Californication, By the Way and Stadium Arcadium, the band have had a
total of 11 top 40 albums with 5 reaching number 1 including Unlimited Love which
reached the top spot in April 2022. The latest album is called Return of the Dream Canteen which I will now review the where I’ll mark each song out of 10.

This is another fine album from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, definitely reminiscence
of Californication, By the Way era, the sound of Anthony Kiedis voice makes you
instantly recognise the band and take you back to the late 90’s early 00’s, stand out
tracks include Eddie, Roulette and Afterlife. The band would have been influential
on Green Day, Blink 182 and Smashing Pumpkins to name a few. Overall this al￾bum scores 8/10
All opinions are my own.
