“Options” Training will be delivering a short, but effective, assertiveness workshop on Thursday February 2 from 10-12pm at the Community of Christ Church, Trostre Road.
The workshop, entitled, “Say what you Mean, Mean what you say” will look at patterns of behavior in ourselves and others, and explore why we can’t say “No” without feeling guilty. The workshop is FREE, and light refreshments are provided.
The above is one of a series of FREE workshops, called “Re-Discover”, which look at confidence building, signs and symptoms of stress, being more assertiveness, planning your time and planning for yourself. FREE CHILDCARE AVAILABLE

Carmarthenshire Communities First Teams are running an event called “Who’s Health is it Anyway?” on Tuesday 7 February at the Antioch Centre between 10am-2.30pm. The event will include taster sessions on Baby Weaning & First Foods, Cooking on a Budget, Zumba, Relaxation Techniques etc., and will also include over 20 information providers to offer free advice and guidance on health and well being issues. FREE CHILDCARE WILL BE AVAILABLE
We will also be holding an event called “Your Way To Work” on Wednesday 8 February between 10am-1.30pm, again at the Antioch Centre. This event will provide workshops on CV Writing, live Job Search, Interview Skills, matching you to your perfect job, and much more. Again, there will be a number of information providers available to give advice on benefits, careers, learning opportunities, volunteering etc.
