A group of people from the Communities First Cluster have learned vital skills that could make the difference between life and death.
Supported by Carmarthenshire Communities First, the group took part in the emergency first aid course at Pantyffynnon Partnership Unit in Ammanford.
The training gave them the necessary skills to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at a place of work.
The one-day free course covered workplace health and safety regulations and basic life saving first aid, from an unconscious casualty to someone suffering with burns.
For more information on forthcoming course and activities call 01554 742662 or email communitiesfirst@carmarthenshire.gov.uk .
