Jeweller launches one of a kind engagement ring from this Christmas classic

• Experts at Peter Jackson the Jeweller have handcrafted this scene-stealing engagement ring for Christmas 

It stole the show in the 1994 Christmas classic Miracle on 34th Street, and now shoppers can get their hands on a real life version this Christmas. 

Fans of one of the UK’s most loved festive films can now get their hands on a handcrafted replica of the stunning ring used to propose to Dorey Walker (Elizabeth Perkins), for a limited time only at Peter Jackson the Jeweller. 

An emerald cut diamond (so called because it replicates the shape of the emerald crystal) has a stunning and unique look with all the facets parallel to the edge of the diamond. Clarity is more important in an emerald than any other diamond because of the larger table giving great visibility into the gem. The quality of the cut is vital because having fewer facets than other diamonds, only the highest grade of the cut will unlock the diamond’s true fire or brilliance.

Handset in platinum, this noble precious metal is revered for its natural white colour and strength to protect the gemstones it contains. The setting replicates the Miracle on 34th Street design, a four-claw setting which both protects and accentuates the centre diamond. Set into the shoulders of the ring are two more beautiful diamonds to create a ‘wow’ factor, the very same when the ring was revealed for the first time in the film.
