A MAN has been fined £75 for dumping a bag of rubbish at the recycling banks in Abergwili Museum.
He was issued with a fixed penalty notice by council environmental enforcement officers for the offence.
The 68-year-old admitted he had cleaned out his car and left the rubbish there.
Failure to pay the fixed penalty notice could result in court prosecution and a fine of up to £2,500.
Executive Board Member for Environmental and Public Protection Cllr Jim Jones said: “These sites are important facilities for communities, but people are dumping all kinds of rubbish. This will not be tolerated and anyone caught will be fined.
“Hopefully this will serve as a warning to others.”
