Labour Assembly Candidate Marc Tierney has taken up concerns over delays to engineering works at Pembroke railway station with Network Rail.
Access to the platform at the south Pembrokeshire station has been cut back following a period of works to raise the platform allowing easier access to trains calling at the station.
Marc Tierney AM candidate said:
“Local rail users tell me that the work at this station has been on-going for some time. I’m confident that the investment by Network Rail will improve the experience of rail users using Pembroke station, particularly those with mobility issues.

“It isn’t the only station on the Pembroke Dock line to require this work and I’ll be urging Network Rail to bring forward similar works elsewhere.
“However the time it has taken for this job to be completed is understandably frustrating and following confirmation from Network Rail, they have assured me that the work should be completed in the next couple of weeks.”
