Agency welcomes single body consultation
Environment Agency Wales has welcomed the launch of the Welsh Government’s consultation on a single body to manage natural resources in Wales.
Chris Mills, Director, Environment Agency Wales said:
“This is a once in a generation opportunity to help shape the future of a new body which will be specific to the needs of the environment and the people of Wales.
“We support the aims of the Welsh Government in creating a single body for Wales, and look forward to participating fully in this consultation.
“We are already working closely with all organisations involved to make sure the new body is a success. In the meantime we are also making sure we stay firmly focused on our day-to day job, protecting the Welsh environment.”
