As part of CETMA’s established Geekly Weekly project, which discusses all things geek from Marvel, anime and games to films & viral videos, CETMA has now established its first ever Geek Gathering.
Geek Gathering is taking place at CETMA’s offices and will encourage people to swap comics, trade trading cards as well as buy and sell their geek related toys/dvds/trading cards/comics etc.
Geek In – Geek Out columnist, Adam Roberts said:
“It is great for us to meet the community and connect with them on a closer level as opposed to hiding behind a computer writing articles for them to read. I’m looking forward to it as it will be so much fun!”
A Pokemon trading card battle, and Pokemon DS battle will also take place, with a cash prize up for grabs. Traders and the public will be able to hire a stall at the event to promote or sell their collection.
CETMA Project Manager, Keith Evans said:
“2016 will be a good year for our CETMA projects, and expanding our geekly weekly project is something that we wanted to do for quite some time.”
“We did a trial of a series last year and would love to see them take off alongside this event and make this event a monthly thing.”
