Music entrepreneur, Albert M. Carter, walked away with a big win at the third annual Musivv Awards for Music Figure of the Year in Dubai, UAE. The Music Figure of the Year award honors the music industry’s leading community leaders by highlighting their impact on the musical arts. As founder of Emirates Music Summit and AudioSwim, Albert has helped the music community by creating initiatives designed to improve their chances of becoming successful on the global stage.
The 38-year-old self-proclaimed culture shifter has been true to his moniker by helping to cultivate a thriving music scene in the UAE and has helped countless musicians to understand the global music industry with a focus on artist monetization Albert has truly earned the respect of musicians and industry professionals.
The awards show, which took place at the Theatre of Digital Arts (TODA) in Souk Madinat Jumeirah has honored over 50 independent musical artists and creatives since 2019. This year they’ve had performances by local, regional, and international artists, such as British / Emirati teen pop singer Alya, international sensation Sandra Sahi, and the Singapore-based teen pop star Matilde G amongst other musical talents.
