A new study has revealed the women with the most influential style in America, with singer Billie Eilish taking the top spot.
The study conducted by fashion retailer Boohoo analyzed U.S. Google search data for various style related terms for over 200 famous women to establish who has the most popular style.
Singer Billie Eilish took the top spot with 10 states searching for her style more than any other female celebrity. States that love Eilish’s outfits the most include New Jersey, Wyoming, Kentucky and Tennessee. Across the country, there are 60,170 average searches made each month for various terms relating to Billie Eilish’s style.
The woman with the second most influential style is singer Taylor Swift. Swift, who recently embarked on her new tour, has the most Googled fashion in a total of 9 states – the second highest number of any female celebrity. States that searched for Taylor Swift’s fashion include Oklahoma, Texas, Florida and Illinois.
Ariana Grande ranks third with 8 states searching for her fashion more than any other female celebrity. The God is a Woman hitmaker saw significant interest for her style from states such as Connecticut, Georgia, Idaho and Alabama. Overall, across the U.S. there are 51,200 average monthly searches for Grande’s style.
In fourth place the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. The Duchess’ fashion is the most Googled in 7 states, including Colorado, Indiana, Wisconsin and Massachusetts. Searches across the U.S. as a whole for Markle’s fashion stand at an average of 49,700 every month.
With 6 states searching the most for their fashion in fifth place is the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton. The Princess has an average of 44,900 U.S. searches made each month for her outfits and style.
The woman with the sixth most influential style in the U.S. is actress Selena Gomez, with 4 states for her style more than any other celebrity – New Mexico, Vermont, Nevada and Iowa.
Two women had two states searching the most for their style, respectively – Rihanna and Bella Hadid.
Rihanna’s style is searched more than any other celebrity in two states – Hawaii and Maine. Altogether, across the U.S. there are 27,300 searches every month for various terms related to Rihanna’s style.
Supermodel Bella Hadid also has two states searching for her style more than any other female celebrity with those two states being California and North Dakota.
Singer Olivia Rodrigo and model Emily Ratajkowski both have one state searching for their style more than anyone else’s. South Dakota searches for Olivia Rodrigo’s style the most, whilst North Carolina searches for Emily Ratajkowski’s outfits and fashion the most.

It is interesting to see the variation of styles that make the list, from Billie Eilish’s more informal, casual looks to Kate Middleton’s signature workwear style.”
