Verge Motorcycles appoints top names to Advisory Board – members include F1 legend Mika Häkkinen and industry veteran Mark Wilson

Verge Motorcycles, the electric superbike pioneer, has formed an Advisory Board comprising top industry leaders to support its global conquest. The esteemed experts provide motor sports and technology know-how that will be vital for the company’s international expansion. Verge is already enjoying strong growth, and the company is now recruiting top talent for its new Innovation Office in London.

Verge Motorcycles has gained a lot of success worldwide, and its new Advisory Board commands respect in the automotive industry. Verge’s new advisors include Mark Wilson, former CFO of Aston Martin Lagonda PLC and McLaren Automotive, and world-famous F1 legend Mika Häkkinen, both of whom bring valuable expertise to the company.

Alongside top names in the automotive industry, professionals from other fields have also been invited to Verge’s Advisory Board. Mikko Hyppönen, cybersecurity expert and Chief Research Officer at cybersecurity company WithSecure, brings to Verge insight into the development of technological innovations in his role as advisor.

“Safety is a crucial part of the development of advanced motorcycle technology. I’m always looking at ways to safeguard and secure connected things – even if they are moving at 250 km/h,” says internationally respected cybersecurity expert Mikko Hyppönen.

“Our ambition is to grow quickly and expand our operations to more and more new markets in the next couple of years, and our advisors will play an important role in this. Verge Motorcycles opened an Innovation Office in San Francisco, California, at the start of this year. The company appointed Pekka Pärnänen, who previously worked as a consultant for startups and Finnish export promoter in Silicon Valley, as the Chief Operating Officer of Verge’s US operations. Verge recently opened an innovation office in London.
