ANOTHER two people have been fined for dropping litter in Carmarthenshire
The first offence occurred in Quay Street in Ammanford.
Council environmental enforcement officers were on patrol at the time and issued a fixed penalty notice to the man.
The second fixed penalty notice was issued to a man in Trostre Retail Park
If they fail to pay, they could be prosecuted in the magistrates court where the maximum fine is £2,500.
Executive Board Member for Environmental Enforcement Cllr Jim Jones said: “We have a zero tolerance approach towards littering and anyone caught will be fined.
“Litter makes an area look untidy and costs us a lot of money to clean it up; it can also lead to more crime being committed.
“Our officers carry out patrols across the county seven-days-a-week.”
