In the run-up to the Easter holidays, it is expected that we’ll see more cars on the road as many travel for UK getaways or to visit family, Richard Evans head of technical services at webuyanycar comments:

“The Easter holidays go hand-in-hand with traffic jams on the road as people take trips across the country and visit family. Our research found that over Easter, around half (49%) of us will be travelling in the car to see family, friends or going on holiday.

“If you have plans to travel during busy periods, there are some things to be aware of to make your journey easier. Planning routes ahead of time to avoid congested roads or peak travel times will help keep things running smoothly. It’s also important to keep an eye out for road works or speed limit changes as drivers can easily be caught out, especially if they’re distracted by a full car.

The most important thing to consider ahead of the Bank Holiday is making sure you’re prepared so the journey is as stress-free as possible. Using our tips for travelling guide, you can ensure you’re ready to get from A to B safely.”
