Bydd y Castell - sydd â hanes yn dyddio'n ôl 2,000 o flynyddoedd - yn arddangos rhai o'r ceir clasurol a'r hen gerbydau gorau ddydd Llun 1 Mai. Bydd Castell Caeriw - sy'n cael ei reoli gan Awdurdod Parc Cenedlaethol Arfordir Penfro - unwaith eto yn croesawu ceir, beiciau modur a cherbydau milwrol trawiadol yn y digwyddiad blynyddol hwn. Dywedodd Daisy Hughes, Rheolwr Castell a Melin Heli Caeriw: "Mae'n rhaid bod pobl yn mwynhau gweld y cerbydau yma mewn cyflwr gwych o flaen y Castell sydd wedi'i warchod yn ofalus gan Awdurdod y Parc Cenedlaethol ers blynyddoedd lawer, oherwydd dyma un o'r digwyddiadau mwyaf poblogaidd sydd gennym ni." Bydd y digwyddiad eleni'n cynnwys arddangosfeydd o feiciau oddi-ar-y-ffordd, arddangosiad o feiciau o Glwb Beiciau Modur Clasurol Arberth, a detholiad o geir clasurol. Bydd y ceir clasurol hyn yn cynnwys Ferrari Dino 246 GT, Morgan Roadster 3.7, Chevorolet Belair 1958, AC Cobra 1979 a Lotus 7, ymysg llawer o geir eraill. Bydd rhagor o adloniant ar gael gyda ffair stondinau a reidiau gan Atyniadau Sir Benfro, a bydd y plant yn gallu dathlu'r Coroni drwy gymryd rhan mewn helfa drysor hwyliog ar thema Brenhinoedd a Breninesau am £2. Bydd Ystafell De Nest ar agor drwy gydol y digwyddiad, gan gynnig rholiau cig moch a diodydd poeth yn y bore, a'r dewis arferol o ginio cartref a chacennau am weddill y dydd. Mae ymwelwyr hefyd yn cael eu hannog i gael golwg ar Gastell mawreddog a Melin Heli Caeriw yn ystod eu hymweliad, er mwyn cael gwybod mwy am y digwyddiadau a'r cymeriadau lliwgar a gyfrannodd at hanes diddorol y safle hwn. Caiff y digwyddiad Ceir Clasurol yng Nghastell Caeriw ei gynnal rhwng 10am a 3pm, a bydd y Castell ar agor rhwng 10am a 4:30pm. Codir tâl mynediad arferol. Oedolion £7, Plant £5, Gostyngiadau £6 a Thocyn Teulu (dau oedolyn a dau o blant) £20. Cofiwch na fydd y digwyddiad yn mynd rhagddo os bydd y tywydd yn wael. A Castle with a history stretching back 2,000 years will host some of the finest classic cars and vintage vehicles on Monday 1 May.

Carew Castle, which is managed by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, will once again welcome eye-catching cars, motorbikes and military vehicles at the annual event.

Carew Castle and Tidal Mill Manager, Daisy Hughes said: “There must be something about seeing these lovingly preserved vehicles against the backdrop of a Castle that has been carefully conserved by the National Park Authority for many years, as this event continues to be one of our most popular.”

This year’s event will include demonstration of off-road trials bikes, a display of bikes from Narberth Classic Motorcycle Club and a selection of classic cars, including a Ferrari Dino 246 GT, Morgan Roadster 3.7, 1958 Chevrolet Belair, AC Cobra 1979 and a Lotus 7, among many others.

Further entertainment will be provided by funfair stalls and rides from Pembrokeshire Attractions, while children will be able to celebrate the upcoming Coronation by taking part in a fun Kings and Queens treasure trail for £2.

Nest Tearoom will be open throughout the event, offering bacon rolls and hot drinks in the morning and the usual mouth-watering selection of homemade lunches and cakes for the rest of the day. Visitors are also encouraged to explore the majestic Castle and Tidal Mill during their visit, to find out more about the events and colourful characters that shaped this site’s fascinating history.

The Classic Cars at Carew Castle event will take place from 10am-3pm with the Castle open from 10am-4.30pm. Normal admission charges apply: Adults £7, Children £5, Concessions £6 and a Family Ticket (two adults and two children) £20.

Please note the event may not take place in the event of bad weather. For more information visit www.carewcastle.com or follow Carew Castle’s Facebook page (Carew Castle and Tidal Mill) for event updates.
