Those attending the Eurovision Song Contest (and some surrounding restaurants in Liverpool) this week will notice a unique offering — limited edition drinks served in The Good Cup – a single-use packaging innovation that features an integrated lid that folds and snaps into place eliminating the need for a separate plastic lid.

This limited edition cup features a design that event organisers are using to raise money to support those displaced by the war in Ukraine. For every drink sold in The Good Cup, participating companies donate to the Ukrainian Welcome Center in Crosby, which provides a support network for Ukrainians and their local sponsors, sending aid back to Ukraine.

Since launching in August of 2022, The Good Cup (https://thegoodcup.world/) is already making a name for itself in the UK, Australia and Japan – and is now coming to North America. The product is meeting the moment, as governments across the globe are already banning – or are planning to ban – plastic-lined cups and lids. The company has already received a lot of interest in the UK and your readers may be seeing these designs soon at your local coffee shops, sporting events, restaurants, airports or convention centers.
