The Welsh Rugby Union is giving rugby club members across Wales the chance to win an Under Armour senior team kit branded in their club colours.

Clubs simply need to get as many members as possible to complete the WRU’s ‘Shape our Game’ online survey at www.wru.wales/shapeourgame

Everybody who is affiliated with a Welsh rugby club will automatically be entered into the prize draw to win the team kit providing they complete the short online survey and supply an email address. The rugby club with the largest number of respondents to the survey will win the kit.

WRU Head of Participation, Ryan Jones, said, “This is a great opportunity for players to show their team spirit without even having to put on their boots. Regardless of your age or gender if you play rugby we want to hear from you. Your feedback is crucial if we are to develop a vibrant modern game that continues to be an integral part of our communities and our culture. Please take 10 mins to fill out the survey – do it in the clubhouse before you hit the pitch, or before you watch the game on Saturday. Your opinion counts and you could win a brand new kit for your club.”

Shape Our Game is a nationwide consultation asking the people of Wales to give their views on our national game. The consultation will provide the foundation for the most comprehensive and far reaching review of the male adult and youth community game since the first official game of rugby was recorded in Wales 150 years ago.

The consultation has been warmly welcomed by Wales Head Coach, Warren Gatland: “No-one knows the club game better than those that play, coach, referee and support it at grassroots level and we want to make the most of that expertise.  A strong national squad is shaped by the community game which feeds it and that’s why I urge anybody that has an interest in the game to get involved and help us shape a healthy future for Welsh rugby.”

The male adult and youth participation survey follows a similar review of the women and girl’s game launched in March 2015. It can be accessed at www.wru.wales/shapeourgame
