With the conference league south season beginning this weekend we had previously been preparing for a trip to Gloucester, Saturday 19th March was set for Gloucestershire All Golds CLS v West Wales Raiders, with discussions from both clubs it was decided that it would be far more beneficial if the fixture was played at the Prince of Wales Stadium the home of Glocester All Golds first team, our game against the cls side shall be kicking off at 17:30 after the All Golds face The North Wales Crusaders in their Championship One league game.

With the season being delayed a bit longer training continues for the boys, this season we have taken a different approach to how we do our sessions, each week we utilise the fantastic facilities West Wales has to
offer for all our players, on a Monday we take full advantage off Llanelli Leisure Centers hall and equipment as we focus on ground work and fitness, on a Wednesday evening the boys get to some crossfit with our partners Emma and Mathew who have a strong background as the owners of Llanelli’s’
Crossfit. On a Friday we like to look at more of a game specific session where we like to use an array of venues to make sure the boys have the full effect of the size of a usual pitch.

With our first home game of the season not until May we have a lot of travelling to do over the next couple of months, to find out our full fixture list take a look at our new and updated website

This season we shall also be having a reserve side & a few junior sides who will play in the Welsh Conference, as the weeks go on I shall be promoting more information regarding these sides with them looking to begin training around mid May. If anyone would like to find out more regarding any of the topics I have mentioned in this week’s column please.
